Anti Tea Party rhetoric pushes votes to GOP

October 26, 2010 By Brian Moon

Anti Tea Party rhetoric is creating more Republican support in the voting booth says a Wisconsin Tea party organizer. Lora Halberstadt cites a Democratic candidate, in her area of Racine, who has on flyers and website, “Are you sick of tea party politics?”

Halberstadt says if she found a Democrat concerned with fiscal responsibility, voter accountability and constitutionality she would gladly vote for them.

Meanwhile a bus touting fiscal responsibility is stopping through southeast Wisconsin this week. The Spending Revolt Bus Tour is making a stop in Racine at noon Thursday with keynote speaker Grover Norquist with Americans for Tax Reform.
