Gilman captures Div. 7 State Football Championship

The Gilman Pirates captured their third WIAA State High School Football Championship by knocking off Burlington Catholic Central 42-13 at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.

Gilman’s Cody Rosemeyer scored four touchdowns to lead the Pirates, who also won state titles in 1986 and 2006.

The Division 6 Championship game follows at 1pm, featuring Edgar against Fond du Lac St. Mary’s Springs.
