Badgers & Wildcats change tip-time because of NFL conflict

January 17, 2011 By Bill Scott

Northwestern and Wisconsin, in conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, have changed the tip-off for Sunday’s men’s basketball game at Welsh-Ryan Arena.  The game has been moved up and will start at 11:30 a.m.

The change was made to accommodate fans and to avoid conflict with the NFL’s NFC Championship game between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears.  That game is set to kickoff at 2pm at Soldier Field in Chicago.

The Wisconsin-Northwestern game was originally set to start at noon.
