St. Norbert College captures second NCAA hockey title

The St. Norbert College Green Knight hockey team won its second NCAA Division 3 ice hockey championship, beating Adrian College 4-3 in the Frozen Four finale on Saturday.

The Green Knights, who finished 25-4-1, ended the season as the best defensive team in the nation, allowing just 1.80 goals per game. 

St. Norbert College last won the title back in 2008.

Division 1 

 North Dakota won the NCAA Division 1 Midwest Hockey Regional, played at the Resch Center in Green Bay.  The Fighting Sioux routed Denver 6-1.

North Dakota will face Michigan on April 7th in the Frozen Four semifinals in St. Paul, Minnesota.
