Packers Player Charity Softball Game

June 6, 2011 By Bill Scott

A record crowd of 8349 people jammed Time Warner Cable Field in Appleton on Sunday for the Donald Driver Charity Softball Game.  The defense edged the offense 18-16 with punter Tim Masthay getting game MVP honors going 4×4 with two homers and 5 RBI.  Quarterback Aaron Rodgers also hit a pair of home runs for the offense.  With the lockout in effect the players haven’t seen much of each other this offseason, but Driver is fully confident they will get a labor deal done sooner or later.  Over $200,000 was expected to be raised for the Donald Driver Foundation on Sunday.
