Braun’s MRI results are good; still no timetable for his return

July 7, 2011 By Bill Scott

Milwaukee All-Star OF Ryan Braun missed his 4th straight game Wednesday afternoon.  Braun had an MRI on his calf which he injured in last Saturday’s win over Minnesota.

The results were good from the standpoint that there was no structural damage, just inflammation.  Braun will still be listed as day-to-day and its unclear whether he will play at all in the Cincinnati series.  Braun did say if he can’t play by Sunday, he would skip Tuesday’s All-Star game in Arizona.
