Brewers Sweep Cubs

The Brewers completed the three game sweep of the Cubs on Thursday afternoon with a 4-2 win.  Ryan Braun went 3×4 with a homer and 2 RBI.  Shaun Marcum picked up the win.  John Axford notched his 30th save of the season.  The Brewers open up a weekend series withHouston tonight at MillerPark.

 The Brewers also put Rickie Weeks on the 15 day DL with a sprained ankle.  He could miss 2 to 6 weeks of action.  With Weeks on the shelf, the Brewers called 2nd baseman Eric Farris up from Triple-A Nashville, they also reacquired Felipe Lopez fromTampaBay for cash.  Lopez will start in Triple-A.
