Packers training camp has night time flavor

July 29, 2011 By Bill Scott

The Green Bay Packers released their full schedule for 2011 Training Camp.  Packers’ fans will see plenty of night-time workouts too.

Training Camp Tradition

Thirteen of the 21 practices overall at Ray Nitschke Field will be under the lights, starting at 7pm.

With a theme of “Back to Football,” training camp opens up Saturday, July 30 with a 7pm practice start.  That marks the first of three straight days featuring a single night practice.  Night practices are also scheduled for July 31 and August 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 and 17 at Nitschke Field.

Should inclement weather or any other factor force the team indoors, practices will be closed to the public due to space limitations inside the Don Hutson Center.
