Badgers win in women’s Challenge game

With three players in double figures, the Wisconsin women’s basketball team knocked off Boston College, 58-50 on Wednesday night at the Kohl Center in the 2011 Big Ten/ACC Challenge game.

Wisconsin (3-5) picked up its third Big Ten/Acc Challenge win, improving to 3-2 in the series.

Taylor Wurtz had 19 points to lead the Badgers.  Wurtz recorded her eighth straight double-digit scoring performance.   Wisconsin shot 43% from the floor and 36% from three-point range. 

The Badgers return to the Kohl Center for their next outing, Monday, Dec. 5 against St. Louis.
