Ball is Big Ten’s Offensive Player of the Year

Wisconsin Badger running back Montee Ball has been named the Big Ten’s

Montee Ball

Offensive Player of the Year.

Ball is the fourth Badger and the second in the last three years to earn the league’s top offensive honor. 

John Clay last won the award in 2009.  Ron Dayne won it in 1999 and Brent Moss in 1993. 

Ball leads the nation with a Big Ten record 34 touchdowns.  He also leads the nation at 17.2 points per game.  Ball leads the Big Ten in rushing (135.2 ypg).
