Panthers advance in Horizon League Tournament

James Haarsma scored 18 points and Ryan Allen added 17 to lead the UW-Milwaukee Panthers to a 68-55 win over Illinois-Chicago in the opening round of the Horizon League men’s basketball tournament on Tuesday night.

The Panthers (20-12) scored 34 of the game’s first 40 points on the way to their 5th straight win. 

Milwaukee faces Butler in the second round of the tournament on Friday night.
