Brewers Blank Mets

The Milwaukee Brewers bats finally came alive in Tuesday night’s 8-0 win over the Mets in New York.

Travis Ishikawa led the way with a pair of home runs and 5 RBI.  Rickie Weeks also hit a solo shot in his return from a bruised hand. 

Zack Greinke went seven strong innings, giving up no runs and just five hits to notch the win.  He struck out seven.  The Brewers open up a two game set in Houston tonight.  Randy Wolf takes on Bud Norris in the pitching matchup. 

Carlos Gomez

Brewers center fielder Carlos Gomez  is set to begin a four game rehab stint tonight in Appleton for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers as he rehabs a sore hamstring..
