K-Rod Blows Up In 9th In Loss

July 24, 2012 By Bill Scott

Brewers fans just shake their heads as the bullpen blows another one. Francisco Rodriguez gave up four runs in the 9th inning as the Phillies rallied for a 7-6 win.  K-Rod walked three and gave up three hits in the final frame, which ended on game winning sac fly by Ty Wigginton.  The loss spoils another solid outing from Randy Wolf, who gave up just 2 runs on five hits in 6 innings worth of work.  The Brewers actually got to starter Roy Halladay for six runs, including a three run blast by Carlos Gomez in the 4th but it’s all for naught as they chalk up another loss.  The series continues tonight as Zack Greinke takes on Cliff Lee.
