Brewers poor it on in the 9th

August 28, 2012 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Brewers turned a close game into a 15-4 rout by scoring 9-runs in the 9th inning to beat the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.

Ryan Braun, Aramis Ramirez and Corey Hart hit back-to-back-to-back home runs as the Brewers banged out a season high 21 hits in the win.

Ramirez clubbed two of the teams five home runs and Braun had four hits and five rbi’s, including his NL leading 35th home run of the season.

Ramirez is now tied with Gary Gaetti for seventh on the all-time home run list for third basemen with 332.

The Brewers have won 6-straight against the Cubs and will shoot for number-7 tonight.  Yovani Gallardo faces Travis Wood in the pitching matchup.
