Stiemsma signs with Timberwolves

August 3, 2012 By Bill Scott

Former Wisconsin Badger basketball player Greg Stiemsma signed a 2-year contract with the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday.  The first year of the deal is guaranteed.

The Randolph, Wisconsin native played last season with the Boston Celtics, but signing with Minnesota allows him to play much closer to home.
