Rindfleisch appeal denied

September 11, 2012 By Jackie Johnson

Felony charges against one of Governor Scott Walker’s top aides during his time as the Milwaukee County executive will stand. Kelly Rindfleisch of Columbia County is denied her appeal to dismiss the criminal charges against her. She had pleaded in March of this year not guilty to four felony charges involving alleged campaign work while on taxpayer time in 2010.

Rindfleisch was Walker’s deputy chief of staff at the time she was helping Brett Davis in his bid for lieutenant governor. District I Appeals Court concludes that the petition fails to satisfy the criteria for permissive appeal. The 43 year old is one of five former Walker aides charged in an ongoing Milwaukee County John Doe probe.
