Eau Claire pediatrician accused of sexual assault

An Eau Claire pediatrician accused of sexually assaulting a patient has been released on a $10,000 signature bond. David Van de Loo is accused of touching a 16 year old boy inappropriately during an exam on August 30th.

The alleged sexual assault occured at Mayo Clinic Health System Eau Claire, where the 60 year-old Van de Loo worked for 18 years. Mayo Clinic terminated him from his position on September 12th. Van de Loo was expected to be released on Thursday, but will be under strict conditions.
