Badgers taking their ball to Vegas

November 23, 2012 By Bill Scott

The Wisconsin Badger Men’s Basketball team is in the midst of one of the toughest non-conference schedules the program has ever seen.  With a trip to Florida already out of the way and games with Virginia, Marquette and California still ahead, the Badgers head to Vegas for a pair of games this weekend.

Wisconsin (3-1) opens up action tonight against #14 Creighton (4-0).  The Bluejays have become one of the most recognizable “Mid-Major” programs in college hoops.  They made last years NCAA tournament and were a part of all but one dance from 2000-2007.

Depending on Friday’s outcome, Saturday’s opponent will be determined.  Wisconsin will take the floor at 7:00 if they lose and 10:00 if they win.  Arizona State (3-0) and Arkansas (3-0) are the other teams taking part in the invitational.
