Richter pleads not guility

November 21, 2012 By WRN Contributor

Bond continues at $1 million for a Racine man accused of sexually abusing children. Alexander Richter waived his preliminary hearing on Wednesday, and pleaded not guilty to 49 felony charges.  The 28 year-old Richter is accused of child sexual assault, possessing child pornography, and sexual exploitation of a child involving six children, boys and girls, for whom he was babysitting.

The criminal complaint says Richter recorded the sexual encounters, with one DVD labeled “Monster Unleashed.” The Racine County District Attorney’s office is still sifting thru evidence on Richter’s computer. He’ll be back in court next month. facing more than 1800 years in prison if convicted.
