Judge bars deadbeat dad from having more kids

December 4, 2012 By WRN Contributor

A judge in Racine has ordered a man, drowning in child support payments, not to have any more children until he can prove he can financially support all of them. Corey Curtis of Racine owes $50,000 in back child support and $40,000 in interest for his nine children with six women.

Judge Timothy Boyle used a state Supreme Court case that upheld a similar decision by a judge in Manitowoc County, and a man who coincidentally failed to support his nine children.

Curtis was arrested and charged in June of 2011. The “special” condition for the 44-year-old was not part of the recommendations by the Department of Corrections in its pre-sentence investigation.
