Green Bay women crack Top 25

February 18, 2013 By Bill Scott

The Green Bay Lady Phoenix ran their win streak to 16 games this weekend and received a No. 25 ranking in this week’s A.P. Top 25 women’s college basketball poll out today.

The Phoenix spent the previous two weeks as the top vote-receiving team in both the AP and USA Today Coaches Poll, falling just one vote shy of the No. 25 ranking in the AP poll last week.

The ranking marks the first time Green Bay has appeared in the AP Poll during the 2012-13 campaign after starting the season receiving votes in the AP poll and ranked No. 25 in the coaches poll.
