Powerball ticket sold in Eau Claire worth $2 million

February 14, 2013 By WRN Contributor

Someone who bought a Powerball ticket in Eau Claire will be feeling a lot of love today, after a winning ticket was sold in Wednesday night’s drawing that’s worth $2 million.

A ticket sold at a Kwik Trip in Eau Claire won the game’s second prize of $1 million. It had the Power Play option, which doubled the winnings. It was the nation’s biggest prize last night, as it was the only ticket to match all five regular numbers but not the Powerball.

Nobody won the jackpot, so it goes up to $60 million for the next drawing on Saturday.

Two Wisconsin players won the third prize of $10,000. Those tickets were sold at a Kwik Trip in Sparta, and a Swetz Roadside Convenience store in Stevens Point.

The numbers were 12, 23, 25, 27, and 43. The Powerball was 29.
