Green Bay & Milwaukee square off in HL tournament opener

March 4, 2013 By Bill Scott

After securing the 4-seed in the upcoming Horizon League tournament, the Green Bay Phoenix will host UW-Milwaukee in an opening round game on Wednesday.

The winners of the first round games will advance to the quarterfinals on Friday night in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Green Bay swept the Panthers in the regular season, including a 79-61 win at the Resch Center on Tuesday, Feb. 26th, the final regular season home game of the year for Milwaukee.

The Green Bay-Milwaukee winner will face the winner of the No. 5 UIC vs. No. 8 Cleveland State game in the quarterfinals on Friday night.
