Killed in the crash were 23-year-old Christopher Mark of Manitowoc and 24-year-old Zachary Gates of Two Rivers. Their passenger, a 21-year-old Newton man, was transported to a Green Bay hospital with serious injuries. All three were in the vehicle that was hit.

The driver accused of causing the crash, a 21-year-old Manitowoc man, escaped injury, while three others in his vehicle were treated at area hospitals and released. Police have not yet released the name of the person in custody.
