Police catch sex offender on the run

April 26, 2013 By WRN Contributor

A Rudolph man wanted by Wood County police since 2010 has been arrested in Southeast Wisconsin. Larry Arnold, 38, was picked up near the Kettle Moraine State Park on Thursday after a manhunt by local authorities. He’s wanted on a series of charges including bail jumping and drunk driving. Arnold was convicted in 1995 for second degree sexual assault of a child and has failed to register as a sex offender.

Officials became concerned after a report that someone had broken into a home. Police arrived and Arnold fled on foot. Arnold was treated at the scene for frostbite to his feet and transported to a West Bend hospital.

Once he’s released, he’ll be charged for the local burglaries and the outstanding warrants in Wood County.
