In the Friday edition of the WRN Sports Daily, I give you my thoughts on Johnny Jolly. The Green Bay Packers defensive lineman has jumped through all the hoops in his return to football. Jolly is coming off of a 3-year NFL suspension and time in prison. He’s trying to turn his life around and trying to make the improbable return to football after a three year absence.
Some outstanding college baseball viewing this weekend at Fox Cities Stadium. The NCAA Division 3 College World Series gets underway today.
And the Milwaukee Brewers open a 3-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates. If the Brewers are ever going to turn their fortunes around, this might be the time. They’ve had the Pirates number at Miller Park for years.
