Estrada works 7 shutout innings in Brewers victory

Caleb Gindl homered for the second straight game, and Marco Estrada held Cincinnati’s lineup to one single over seven shutout innings to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 3-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday.

Estrada struck out a season high 9 and walked only 2 and improved to 6-4.

Jim Henderson served up Joey Votto’s 20th home run of the season before earning his 21st save.

The Brewers wound up taking 2 of 3 in the series.  They take the day off today and will face the Pirates in Pittsburgh on Tuesday night.
