Man dead in Brown County domestic dispute

August 18, 2013 By WRN Contributor

The Brown County Sheriff’s Department confirms a man is dead and a woman in custody, following a domestic disturbance. It happened in Howard just after 4 a.m. Saturday. The Brown County jail identified the woman in custody as Tricia Phillips.

“It was a domestic situation. They were a couple. They do not reside totally together at this location. He had access to this location but he did not live here,” Captain David Konrath of the Brown County Sheriff’s Department told FOX 11. Konrath said a woman called 911 shortly after 4:15 Saturday morning. “She called 911 herself, and identified what happened, and met our officers as they arrived at the scene,” Konrath said. More information will be released Monday.
