Browns grab Johnson off of Packers practice squad

October 13, 2013 By Bill Scott

The Cleveland Browns added some wide receiver depth, signing Green Bay Packers 7th round pick Charles Johnson off of the Packers practice squad.

Johnson struggled to get on the field with the Packers, missing most of the team’s offseason program and training camp with injuries.

Johnson was selected in the April draft out of Grand Valley State.

Jason Spitz

Seattle released former Packers offensive lineman Jason Spitz.  Spitz signed with the Seahawks on Sept. 25.  He didn’t play in any of the two games that he spent with the team.
