UPDATE: Names released in triple-fatality Oneida County crash

January 15, 2014 By WRN Contributor

The crash involving a passenger car and a propane truck has left three people dead. Oneida County Sheriff’s investigators say the crash happened at 1:16 p.m. on Highway 51 at Fernwood Road in the Town of Cassian.

Oneida County is still investigating the crash, but say weather and road conditions are probably a factor. Cassian and Nokomis Fire Departments and the Oneida County hazardous materials response team were called to the scene along with first responders. Names are being withheld until relatives are notified.

UPDATE – The Oneida County sheriffs department has released the names of the three victims in Monday’s crash on Highway 51. They are: passenger car driver 22-year-old Justine Ringberg of Bayfield, passenger 22-year-old Raquel Nunez of New York, and propane truck driver 22-year-old Jeremey Ritchie of Minocqua.
