Badger women fall at Penn State

The Wisconsin women’s basketball team fell to Penn State 78-68 in Big Ten basketball in State College on Sunday.

The Nittany Lions (20-5, 11-2 Big Ten) took the lead at the free throw line with 4-minutes to play, closing out on a 20-9 run to knock off the Badgers.

Maggie Lucas was 8 for 8 at the free throw line and is now 148 for 153 on the season.  She finished with 25 points to lead four Penn State players in double figures.

Michala Johnson nad 19 points and eight rebounds to lead the Badgers (10-15, 3-10).
