Football Badgers get commitment from California TE

February 18, 2014 By Bill Scott

Wisconsin didn’t sign a tight end in their 2014 recruiting class but they have a commitment from a highly rated one in the 2015 class.

Kyle Penniston is a highly ranked tight end from Santa Ana, California.  He announced his decision to play for the Badgers via Twitter.

The 6’4 Penniston is the No. 7 ranked tight end nationally by ESPN and Rivals.  He chose Wisconsin over Washington State, Florida State and Miami.

Kenniston is the second prep player to make an oral commitment to the Badgers, joining quarterback Austin Kafentzis from Sandy, Utah.
