Badgers back in A.P. Top 10

March 3, 2014 By Bill Scott

The Wisconsin Badgers, fresh off of their 7th straight win yesterday at Penn State, moved up 5-spots from 14th to 9th in the latest A.P. Top 25 men’s college basketball poll.

The Badgers (24-5, 11-5) have two games left in the regular season, starting with their final home game against Purdue on Wednesday night.

Wisconsin is the highest ranked Big Ten of the four in the Top 25.  Michigan is 12th, Michigan State is 22nd and Iowa is 24th.

Florida is number 1 again this week.  Virginia, after beating Syracuse and claiming the ACC regular season title, climbed to 5th.  Villanova, after their win over Marquette yesterday, moved from 8th to 6th.
