Bucks fall to Pelicans, despite Adrien’s career night

March 8, 2014 By Bill Scott

Jeff Adrien scored a career-best 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough for the Milwaukee Bucks in their
112-104 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night at the Smoothie King Center.

Pelicans forward Anthony Davis had a huge night of his own, scoring 29 points and adding 14 rebounds and 5 assists as New Orleans pulled away in the fourth quarter.  The Pelicans outscored the Bucks 34-27 in the final quarter last night.

New Orleans shot 50% (42 for 84) and 40% from three-point range (8 for 20).

Khris Middleton led the Bucks with 25 points, while Ramon Sessions added 16 and Brandon Knight 15.
