Police investigate fatal shooting in Green Bay

April 17, 2014 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay police are investigating an overnight shooting that claimed the life of a 32-year-old man. Police say Steve Sims was the victim of a targeted attack.

Police were called around 11:15 p.m. to a report of shots fired in the 1100 block of Stuart Street. While checking that out, the call came in about a man taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound. Police determined the two calls were related.

Investigators say they do not currently have any suspects in custody. According to police, Sims recently moved to the area from Kenosha.
