Badgers land commitment from Texas running back

July 22, 2014 By Bill Scott

Wisconsin has landed another recruit from the state of Texas after running back Davon Crookshank gave the Badgers an oral commitment for the 2015 class.

The 5’10, 185 pound Crookshank reportedly had offers from Colorado, Baylor, Houston and Kansas among others.

He is the 16th known commitment for Wisconsin’s 2015 class and the fourth from the state of Texas.  He’s also the first running back in the class.

Crookshank attends Fort Bend Marshall High School just outside of Houston.  Houston is where Wisconsin will open the 2014 season on Aug. 30th against L.S.U.
