Badgers announce 2014-15 men’s basketball non-conference schedule

The Wisconsin Badger men’s basketball team released the non-conference schedule for the 2014-15 season.MotionW_2Color

The Badgers home schedule begins with the annual free Red/White Scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 26.  Wisconsin will host UW-Parkside in an exhibition game before tipping off the regular season at the Kohl Center against Northern Kentucky on Nov. 14.

Wisconsin will compete in the three-game Battle 4 Atlantis in The Bahamas from Nov. 26-28, a field that includes North Carolina, Florida, Oklahoma, UCLA, Georgetown, butler and the Badgers’ first-round opponent UAB.

Preseason top-5 pick Duke will visit the Kohl Center on Dec. 3 for the 2014 Big Ten/ACC Challenge.  UW will then make back-to-back trips to Milwaukee to face rivals Marquette on Dec. 6 and Milwaukee on Dec. 10.

The Badgers will take a road trip to Berkeley, California to take on the Bears on Dec. 22.

Wisconsin also plays another in-state opponent, the Green Bay Phoenix on Wed. Nov. 19.
