Wisconsin men’s basketball coach Bo Ryan is among 12 finalists being considered for election in 2015 in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

The finalists were announced in conjunction with the NBA’s All-Star weekend in New York.

The 67-year-old Ryan led UW-Platteville to four NCAA Division III titles and has led UW to 13 NCAA tournament berths in 13 seasons as head coach.  He led the Badgers to the Final Four last season.  Ryan is 344-123 at Wisconsin and 727-226 in 30-plus seasons overall.
