Perez removed from Brewers 40-man roster

November 7, 2015 By Bill Scott

Brewers logoThe Milwaukee Brewers sent infielder Hernan Perez to Class AAA Colorado Springs on Friday and he exercised his right to become a free agent rather than accept the assignment.

The move leaves the Brewers with 35 players on their 40-man roster.

The Brewers claimed Perez off waivers from Detroit back on June 2.  After Aramis Ramirez was traded to Pittsburgh, Perez saw extensive playing time at third base the rest of the season.

Perez ended up hitting .270 with one homer and 21 RBI, getting 238 at bats in 90 games.
