Green Knights tie D-3 victory mark

The St. Norbert College Green Knights rolled past Knox College 83-47, earning their 61st straight Midwest Conference victory on Saturday afternoon.

The win matches the NCAA Division III record for consecutive victories, originally set by Wheaton College of Illinois in the 1950’s.

The Green Knights also clinched a 20-win season for the sixth time in the last seven years.

D.J. DeValk led the Green Knights (20-2, 17-0 MWC) with 14 points.  Mitch Reinthaler added eleven points and Taylor Penn had ten.

St. Norbert women capture 14th title

The St. Norbert College women earned their 14th MWC championship with a convincing 87-70 win over Knox on Saturday.

Stephanie Weigman had 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Green Knights (18-4, 17-0).

The win is the 45th in the last 46 conference games for the Knights.
