Marquette to open their season against Vanderbilt

MarquetteGoldenEagles2Marquette announced Monday that it will take part in the 2016 Veterans Classic, an annual showcase that brings top teams from across the country together on Veterans Day at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

The Golden Eagles will take on Vanderbilt at 5:30 pm in the third annual event on November 11 with Ohio State taking on Navy afterward at 8:00 pm.

Both games will be televised on the CBS Sports Network.  The game against Vanderbilt will be Marquette’s regular-season opener.
