April 13, 2016 By WRN Contributor

A man has pleaded guilty in a drug-related murder last year in Green Bay. Percy Sims appeared in Brown County court Wednesday.

Sims, 27, is accused of killing 39-year-old Krystal Torres-Smith at a parking lot at Lambeau Cottage on the UW-Green Bay campus, on June 8th of last year.

Officials said Sims shot and killed Torres-Smith at close range after he met with her to buy marijuana. Sims is expected to be sentenced on June 28.
