Appleton Police are looking into a former bank executive as a suspect, in a nine-year-old murder investigation.
Connie Boelter was killed in her duplex on the city’s north side in November of 2006. The 56-year-old Boelter was a loan officer at Wolf River Community Bank in Hortonville.
Assistant Police Chief Todd Olm released a statement Monday. Olm said investigators haven’t referred any charges to prosecutors at this time, but they have developed a “person of interest.”
Olm said the information that’s included in court records is just a portion of the evidence that they’ve gathered, and they continue to work on the case with the Outagamie County district attorney’s office.
Olm also said police are asking people to come forward with any information they may have.
