Dogs maul Green Bay mom and toddler

June 21, 2016 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay Police are investigating an incident where two pit bulls attacked a Green Bay mother and her 15-month-old child on Monday.

It happened at 12:09 p.m. in the 1100 block of Reber Street. When officers arrived at the home, neighbors had been able to separate the dogs from the mom and her toddler.

The mother and child were taken to the hospital and their injuries don’t appear to be life-threatening.

Police say the dogs and the mother and child were not familiar with one another and this appears to be an instance of an unprovoked dog attack that took place outside the dogs’ yard.
