Bucks get meeting with Wade but he decides to sign with Chicago

July 7, 2016 By Tim Fisher

Milwaukee Bucks logo 11The on-again, off-again meeting between the Milwaukee Bucks and Dwayne Wade was on-again Wednesday afternoon but in the end, the former Marquette standout and 12 time NBA All-Star decided to sign with the Chicago Bulls.

The first meeting between the two parties was set to occur on Tuesday but Wade canceled that meeting. The Bucks did get their opportunity to sit down with the free agent guard for an hour on Wednesday.

Marc Lasry, one of the Bucks primary owners represented the team at the meeting.

Reports indicate that Wade likes the direction that Milwaukee is heading with their core of players. Another factor that was in the way of a potential deal was the Bucks salary cap situation would have forced moves to be able to accommodate a big offer to Wade.
