The Wisconsin REALTORS Association reports the state’s housing market is the strongest it’s been since before the recession of the late 2000s. Home sales over the first six months of this year were up 5.5 percent compared to the first half of 2015 and median prices increased 4.5 percent.

In June, the average price of a home sold in Wisconsin was $162,000. There were more homes sold in the state last month than any month since before 2005, according to the WRA report.
