Attorneys for two of the unidentified targets of a now ended investigation into Governor Scott Walker’s campaign want documents seized in the probe returned to them, and for court officials to launch an investigation into a high profile leak of those records.

The motion filed Friday by attorneys Dean Strang and Edward Meyers calls on the state Supreme Court to return all documents collected during the investigation, which the court ordered an end to last year. The U.S. Supreme Court earlier this week refused to reconsider that decision, rejecting an appeal filed by prosecutors in the case.

The motion also seeks to have the court order an investigation into who leaked documents in the case that had been kept sealed. The records, released by The Guardian U.S. last month, detailed how Governor Scott Walker steered corporate donors to third party groups during the state’s historic wave of recall elections in 2012.
