Grothman concerned about voter fraud (AUDIO)

October 20, 2016 By WRN Contributor

A Republican congressman from Wisconsin says Donald Trump’s debate statement about not accepting election results is not damaging because no matter what, the candidates will have to live with the results.

“I think the only time I’ve ever seen a politician not live with the results is Al Gore in the year 2000, when he ran against George Bush,” Representative Glenn Grothman told KFIZ. “I don’t think we’re going to have a problem here.”

During a campaign stop on Ohio on Thursday, Trump said he would “totally accept” the results — if he wins.

Trump has not backed off claims the vote will be rigged. Grothman said the people who work at the polls where he votes in Sheboygan County do a good job. “But I talk to people in other parts of the state and other parts of the country, and things seem kind of loosey-goosey.”

Grothman said he is concerned about voter fraud. He cites a heavily edited video released by Project Veritas this week which claims to show a Democratic operative bragging about disrupting Republican campaign events, and voter fraud.

Grothman, elected to the 6th District in 2014 after a long career in the state legislature, faces Democrat Sarah Lloyd in his bid for a second term in Congress.
