Brewers drop second straight to Pirates

June 21, 2017 By Tim Fisher

A six run first inning was too much for the Milwaukee Brewers to overcome in a 7-3 loss to Pittsburgh Tuesday night at Miller Park.

Brewers starter Zach Davies struggled giving up seven runs, 10 hits and a walk with four strikeouts in five innings.

Nick Franklin hit a solo homer for Milwaukee but the Brewers could not get the timely hit to overcome the early deficit.
