Hot air balloon hits power lines in Outagamie County

December 4, 2017 By WRN Contributor

Authorities in Outagamie County say two people had to be rescued Sunday morning, after their hot air balloon made contact with power lines near Center

A We Energies crew was able to disconnect the power, while a second truck was brought in to get the balloon off the lines.

One of the people in the basket reported feeling a “tingling” in their hands when they hit the lines, although no injuries were reported.
